Aptly named Scout, the guest house is conveniently located in Yarmouth overlooking Casco Bay!   The home has been completely renovated and is available for rent for the first time ever beginning Summer 2021.  The 550 square foot guest house offers comfortable accommodations for 2.  Strict occupancy rules apply.

Interior:

An ideal, open-concept one level house with 14 foot ceilings Scout is streaming with light and walls of glass.   Kitchen offers gorgeous Bosch, Fisher & Paykel, Sub zero and Miele appliances, custom cabinets, granite, and island seating for 2. 

A custom built in desk offering a lovely work space also offers a beverage center and a built in plumbed Miele coffee system. Scout has wireless high speed internet when connecting back to the office is necessary. 

The living area offers a comfortable American Leather pullout sofa, linear gas fireplace and 55" flat panel TV.   

The sleeping area is located at the rear of the guest house offering custom built ins for storage along with a luxurious king bed and bedding.  Custom electric black out blinds allow you to open and close all windows/doors with the click of a button. 

A custom bathroom entered thru a sliding barn door for privacy offers timeless subway tile walls, custom tile shower with glass door, heated shower and bathroom floors, a wall mounted vanity and washer dryer.

The house has air conditioning for the days where the ocean breeze isn't quite sufficient and gorgeous wide plank oak flooring. 

The deck offers a wonderful area to enjoy the commanding views of Casco Bay, catch some rays, grill on the gas grill, and plenty of seating for a meal or a glass of wine.  A lovely gas fire table and 2 Adirondack chairs will certainly be the perfect spot to enjoy many evenings. Additionally you will find a dining table with seating for 4.  The deck is finished with sophisticated stainless steel railings and glass panels designed by Rusted Puffin Metalworks.  Private dock shared with the main house makes for easy access to Casco Bay.

Home is professionally designed and furnished.  The artwork is painstakingly curated to feature Maine's leading artists. 

Minutes to the areas best shopping and restaurants in the charming village of Yarmouth...Be sure to check out Gather, Royal River Grill House, Bistro 233, Woodhull Public House, and Owl and Elm.  Rosemont Market on Main St in Yarmouth offers gourmet foods, and has a wonderful selection of cheese and fish.  For a quick lunch try Clayton's Cafe for one of many sandwich options.   Just 20 minutes to Portland and the Jetport.
