RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CHARGES:
Weekly Rental Rate
7% Maine State Sales and Lodging Tax for vacations less than 30 days
$150 Departure Cleaning Fee
$35 Non Refundable Security/Damage Insurance
RESERVATION DEPOSITS: For reservations made a 50% deposit must be received within 5 days of the reservation date.
FINAL PAYMENT: The FINAL payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to your reservation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. If paying by credit card your card will be kept on file and charged automatically 30 days prior to your reservation. When the credit card is charged an updated reservation agreement will be emailed to you reflecting a zero balance for your reservation.

CHECK OUT: 10:00 AM Sharp, Keys are to be left on kitchen counter at rental property
NO LATE CHECK OUTS ARE AVAILABLE as cleaners must adhere to strict time schedule.
HOUSE RULES are posted in each rental property. Please read and observe the rules. Apex Beach Rentals will not be responsible for any issues that arise due to not obeying all rules.
Occupancy and parking is limited and will be strictly enforced.
REFUNDS will be made only if Apex Beach Rentals is successful in re-booking the rental property for the same reservation period and the same rental amount. If Apex Beach Rentals is unable to re-book the cancelled period, the total rental charge will be due, with all advance rental payments forfeited.
SECURITY/DAMAGE INSURANCE FEE: A Non refundable Security/Damage Fee of $25 is charged at time of booking paid by check or credit card with your final reservation payment. The fee is required on all properties and if damage occurs Apex Rentals will file an insurance claim to cover damage. Damage up to $3,000 is covered by the non refundable fee. If guest chooses not to pay $25 non refundable fee we will collect a $500 refundable security deposit that will be returned once check out occurs minus any damages.
TRAVEL PROTECTION/TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE: We recommend using CSA, Inc. (800) 554-9839 www.csatravelprotection.com for your trip cancellation insurance needs to protect your vacation investment against hurricane evacuations, injury, sickness, job loss, or death and other unforeseen covered circumstances, which could cause cancellation of confirmed reservation and forfeiture of payments.
WHAT TO BRING: Kitchens are stocked with standard items, including; pots, pans, silverware, dishes, toaster, and coffee maker. Other items, such as a blender or corkscrew may not be stocked and vary based on rental property.
Linen and Towels: Linens and shower towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided but may be purchased at an additional cost.
Shower towels are not permitted outside rental property.
Pillows, blankets, and bedspreads are supplied in all rental properties and beds are made prior to check in. Pullout sofa linens are stored in closet for your use if needed as pullout sofa beds are not made prior to check in.
Soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper are not supplied. Please bring your own.
Washer and dryer are provided in all rental properties.
No Grills are provided or allowed on condominium balconies.
Cable TV (or satellite) is standard in all rental properties. Number of TVs vary in each rental property.
Wireless internet is standard in all rental properties.
VCR or DVD Players may or may not be provided.
NO PETS/ANIMALS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED except with prior written consent on rental contract and added security deposit.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHOICE OF RENTAL PROPERTY: It is important to realize that each rental property is individually owned and furnished. We do our best to accurately represent the property and the photos you see on the website are of the exact rental property you choose to rent, but the furnishings/decor vary based on owners tastes and we will not be responsible if you do not like your reserved rental property upon arrival. Apex Beach Rentals is not able to make changes to furnishings without written consent from property owner. If you want to move to a different rental property you must pay for the second unit. The rent from the first rental property cannot be transferred to a second rental property. The rent for the first rental property will only be returned if it is re-rented to another party. |
